Rehabilitation isn’t just recovery—it’s a return to movement. At Alpine Physical Therapy, patients from Palo Alto get clear answers, consistent progress, and less pain. Our licensed therapists design each plan around the patient’s condition and recovery goals.
We use functional evaluations, not generic routines. Each physical therapy program includes manual techniques, movement retraining, and strength building. Every detail reflects how the body heals best. Our clinic provides services that support real progress across a range of needs from post-surgical rehab to pelvic floor conditions.
Sports injuries require structure and precision. Our team restores movement and performance while minimizing risks of future injury. Each plan includes joint protection, muscle reconditioning, and real-time progression based on the athlete’s activity level.
We also help recreational athletes and weekend warriors move with more confidence and less discomfort. For anyone with movement-related injuries, Alpine delivers results worth the appointment.
In pediatric care, communication and flexibility matter. We build customized programs for children with orthopedic injuries, coordination challenges, or developmental delays. Therapy sessions are structured yet adaptive, blending evidence-based techniques with a fun, encouraging environment.
We help families find support and progress in one place. Our therapists walk parents through each step so progress continues outside the clinic too.
Neurologic rehab takes skill, focus, and consistency. We work with patients post-stroke, after traumatic brain injury, or managing chronic neurological disorders. Treatment focuses on motor control, functional independence, and restoring movement patterns.
Sessions may include gait retraining, balance work, or mobility assistance. Our therapists track each patient's progress closely, building on what works and removing what doesn’t.

After a major orthopedic surgery at Stanford to repair a ruptured quad tendon, the recovery resulted in the inability to bend my leg and lots of pain. After two sessions a week for several months, I regained full range of motion with no pain. Plus, strength building with Brandan’s guidance has allowed me to resume my normal activities with confidence. Surgery is only part of the solution; professional PT is the rest.

My back and neck have been attached to Brandan Pesa for over five years, and they are both far better for it. He’s a true professional, extremely knowledgeable and informative, and a lot of fun to be with. Very highly recommended

Having undergone treatment at six other PT centers in San Diego, I can confidently state that none of them matched the high quality and personalized care I received and I attribute this to the exceptional knowledge, attentiveness, and compassion exhibited by my physical therapist, Allen Kao.

Brandan is a miracle worker!!! I've worked with Brandan for over 3 years for physical therapy after a horrible bicycle accident. Before I saw him I couldn't even turn my head to the side without extreme pain. Now I have a much more manageable function level, and when things get out of balance, Brandan is right there to help me get back on track.
